Superb specimen of a fluorite included quartz from Madagascar (Fianarantsoa province), exceptional collector piece
The size of this crystal is truly EXCEPTIONAL: most of the crystals found were the size of a finger, but this one is a Monster!
Most of the faces have been POLISHED to better see the inclusions
A crystal of this size from the 2005 find and this clear, is exceptionally rare.
Lots of fluorite in this specimen. For the true collector!

This crystal is rare!
One pocket was found in 2004 in Madagascar. The crystals were first presented at the Tucson Show in 2005.
Less than 1000 decent crystals were recovered from this find and maybe another 2000 poor quality opaque, etched or damaged specimens.
Virtually none were either large or this clear.
